Anchor - multimedia journalist - host

From blizzards to deadly tornadoes, breaking news to emotional features, World War II veterans to swingers, I've covered it all from both sides of the news desk.

I joined the WISH-TV team in Indianapolis in April 2014. I enjoy my work as a jack-of-all-trades on our 5-hour morning newscast. I was also a national correspondent for the presidential election in 2016 and the 101st running of the Indy 500.

I moved to Indy from Fox 14 KARD & KTVE NBC 10 in Monroe, Louisiana. There I lead the newsroom as the 9 p.m. anchor. I also produced and hosted an afternoon lifestyle show called Louisiana Living and worked as the political and investigative reporter for KTVE 10.

Prior to Fox 14 & NBC 10, I joined the KNWA news team in June of 2010. As a one-man-band reporter with a determination to dig, I took the weekend content to a new level. After one year, I was promoted to provide hard-news, enterprise, and live breaking reports for the weekday 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts. I was also the main fill-in anchor for our morning, evening, and weekend shows.

Before moving to Fayetteville, Arkansas, I worked in the Joplin, Missouri/Pittsburg, Kansas market for KOAM and Fox 14. For more than two years, I filled many positions in the small market newsroom for the #1 station in the market. From lead reporter to fill-in anchor and producer, I learned to jump in where needed to make sure every newscast was the best it could possibly be.

My love for journalism started at the age of 10. I distinctly recall being immersed in the 1996 Presidential election and decided I wanted to be the one providing the people at home with the information they needed to know. Also around that age, I was published for the first time as a writer and there it all began.

Outside of being a dedicated reporter and earning a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, I also have a bachelor's degree in dance. With a love of the performing arts, I'm often in the community performing and teaching, allowing me to connect with so many incredible people. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our two dogs, scrap booking, golf, and working out.

In addition to my work as a multimedia journalist, I am also fully trained at a traffic reporter.
